Margot bewitched his father into marriage after his mother's death. She then turns to poisoning him and trying to seduce Dougall Campbell to her bed and gain the land and wealth of both Clans. She is a beautiful and evil woman. Morgann tries to get back his mother's ring Margot stole and gave to Dougall and is branded a thief, literally. Morgann was raised around Alana Campbell, Dougall's daughter and always hoped she would be his wife one day but with war between their clans there is no hope. There is magic for the couple in the form of a fairy named Teile. She is determined to help the young Laird and Lady. After eight years of war there seems to be no end to the hate and bloodshed until Morgann finds Alana outside her castle one day and kidnaps her. He believes he can now reason with her father since he holds his daughter captive but finds out he is the one that is captive. This is a magical love story with characters who melt your heart and keep excitement on every page. It was a sweet endearing tale. I give it Five Stars and can't wait for the next book in the series.
